Just to announce that Boof On This will be hitting France this June with the Glasgow Uni Canoe Club team! For me and Sean this will be our third return but for many of the guys it will be a virgin adventure!

We will be living it up in L’Argentiere for a couple of weeks from the 3rd June so if your around come and have a drink! Expect some pics and videos on return, and some funny updates whilst were out there!

Boof On This is now an official affiliate of GoPro, the leading producer of quality wearable digital camera for sports enthusiasts. We will soon be producing film using footage from new angles, courtesy of GoPro and i encourage you to look into their porducts yourselves and see if you can capture a closer view of your own paddling adventures!

A couple of weeks back Scotland was hit by a mass of rain. After a dry winter this was welcomed by all kayakers! I managed to get out boating a loit during this time, hitting up the Etive, Allt a’ Chourain and the Spean Gorge. The most exciting thing i got on though was a little Ayrshire gem, the Carrick Lane. This magic river is hidden at the top end of Loch Doon, and the last 2km give a really nice run. We managed to hit it at peak levels, possibly the highest its been run?? Anyway the run went well with a couple of questionable lines. Thanks to Euan R and Michael T for hitting this one up with me, big thanks to Euan for the video!
